The Fable of Mudh
The fable of Mudh is a cautionary tale about why you should not be annoying. It has been told many times, many ways, but in the end it all ends the same. So here it is, the classic tale of Mudh...
Mudh was a little boy in a northern village. He was a normal person, except for one thing, he was annoying. Every day he would take things from others and pretend he didn't. He laughed at people's misery and was not liked by many.
Yet they tolerated him. He would steal and get caught and do it again, but they lived with it. Life went on, until one day Mudh crossed the line. On that day the town had just came though a hard winter and was having a grand feast with all of the newly harvested food. All was well and everyone was happy. But then Mudh decided it would be funny to take some food, so he did. But he decided it wasn't enough. He took more and more until all that was left was a single grape.
the people of the town where enraged. They attacked Mudh and drove him from the town. He died a sad and lonely death in the mountains. And so the moral of the story is that greed can kill you.
