A long day has passed and Weldon is ready to leave Ioda and continue his journey. Nathela follows him back to the ship. Just before they reach it she stops in amazement, "We're traveling in that?"
"Yep." Weldon laughs, "Why are you so surprised?"
"I just though by ship you meant a tiny dingy or something." she whispers, still in awe of the giant ship.
"Well it's not mine, plus the library is funding my mission a lot. It helped pay for that magic book and those crows and this ship. Now come on I'll introduce you to the captain"
The two of them walk up on to the vessel. The captain is ready and waiting to meet them.
"Ah the young scribe returns! I got your crow just a minute ago and I guess this is the new company that you refereed to." He points to Nathela then puts his hand out to shake hers "Nice you meet you madam. I am Captain Harold Redman and you are welcome on the one and only Gold Arrow. It is a honor to meet you since we don't see many of your type around here?"
"My type?"
"Dark elves or what ever you call your self. Now Weldon, where do you wish to go. I recommend heading North."
This suggestion surprises Weldon, "North? Did you not say that we should not go there due to Bolbi Pirate?"
"Aye I did. But I got news that he has fallen from power. Factions formed in his empire and it got destroyed in a civil war. The North is Bolbi free. I've even heard that he died in the fight."
"Where did you get this information?"
"I'm friends with a sailor out of Raider Haven. He sent me a crow with the news. He says that rumor is that Bolbi died in his burning ship yelling at the top of his lungs 'Ye traitors wull burn. Ye wull burn in hell wi' me! '."
"Very well. Let's head north"

Up in the northern most tip of Boar's Head planks of wood drifts to shore. A hand suddenly comes up from the water and grabs it. A aged dwarf pulls himself on shore next to the piece of drift wood.
He sighs under his breath, "Noo ah ken how come ah teuk swimmin` lessons. "
